The Hong Kong Logistics Association, a long-standing advocate for cross-border collaboration, has been instrumental in strengthening ties between Hong Kong, mainland China, and global markets. Riding the momentum of the Belt and Road Initiative and the Greater Bay Area, the association is helping shift the logistics industry toward more innovation-led, value-added growth.

“With its robust digital infrastructure and established systems for cross-border data flow, Hong Kong is the perfect proving ground for smart technologies with global ambitions,” said Chairman Stanley Chung during his opening remarks.

In a keynote titled “Build, Innovate, Win Together,” i-Search Founder and CEO Tang Qisong broke down the company’s philosophy: stay rooted in deep tech, build real-world tools, and put the customer front and center.

He walked the audience through i-Search’s evolution—starting with digital foundations (2011–2016), scaling automation (2017–2022), and now entering a new era of intelligent systems (2023–present). What began as a pure-play automation company has grown into a cognitive intelligence powerhouse, bridging AI and enterprise needs in ways that are both ambitious and tangible.

From Finance to Supply Chain, i-Search’s Technology Gains Traction Across Industries

As digital transformation becomes a core priority for Hong Kong businesses, many are doubling down on efficiency and operational agility.

One of the early adopters, ICBC (Asia), has been working with i-Search since 2019. In a keynote titled “Looking Ahead: A New Chapter in Business Operations,” Yu Shumin, Deputy General Manager of ICBC (Asia)’s Operations Management Department, explained how the bank is combining robotic process automation (RPA) with process mining (RPM) to tackle nearly half of its operational pain points.

Another standout came from Youhe Group, a Fortune China 500 company and one of China’s top 200 importers. A major player in the global agricultural supply chain, Youhe has partnered with i-Search for a full-scale digital overhaul.

In his talk, “Deepseek and the Smart Supply Chain: Powering Global Trade Through Intelligent Collaboration,” Co-Chairman and CIO Ding Jun shared how the company uses i-Search’s tech in four key areas: intelligent talent screening, automated fund management, optimized logistics, and real-time compliance. The results  Over 1,300 labor hours saved monthly, smoother operations, and a stronger global edge.
